Network Status Report

  • 12:19pm - 26/3/2010: Services have returned to normal. Thank you to our customers for their patience and understanding.

  • 11am - 26/3/2101: A further update on yesterday's network issues: We have mostly recovered from this network attack now. It has dropped overnight (and is continuing to drop) to a point where our firewall is no longer having to work as hard to manage the issue and services have been returned to 99% available.

  • 3:30pm - 25/3/2010: An update on today's network issues: Our upstream network providers are still working through the problem. We have temporary blocks on most of the sources that are causing the issue. Requests to block the traffic from further afield have been sent, but do take some time to filter out to the various service providers and we are waiting on them to be actioned. Whilst we are waiting for this to happen our Fortinet firewall is managing the issue. We will keep you updated as new information appears - thank you for your understanding.

  • 7:30am - 25/3/2010: Please Note: Since approx 6:45am this morning we have been the target of what we expect is a sustained DOS attack (Denial of Service Attack). You may not notice any issues with the service we provide to you as our Fortigate firewall is managing this attack, thus allowing services to continue, while our upstream network provider deals with the issue. We will notify you again when we have more information.

To be emailed or text-messaged when there are network issues, please see our Notification Service page.
